We have a dog... a very active non stop playing, shih tzu dog named Mia..
Mia has been with us for a year now and she and Gabby had clicked pretty fast. Gabby had little to no interest in animals, but Mia has never let her ignore her for a long time.
Mia is not trained to be a special needs dog, but there is something that makes them be best friends.
When Gabby has to go potty... Mia comes to her feet and sits so Gabby's feet rest on her, and can use her feet to pat her... awesome because if she steams while in the potty... well you can imagine...
If Gabby is on the floor having an "issue" Mia comes with one of her play toys and puts it on her back or her lap and wont stop until Gabby throws it to her and engage in playing... they can spend a long time doing it...
If Gabby is watching her ipad but on the sofa... Mia comes and sits on her legs or her back... and gives her that weight to relax her...
Well today out of any other day.. Gabby took her leash... and put her own shoes on.... She wanted to walk Mia....
Good God!! it;s cold, it's raining. it's windy... but today She had to decide it's a good day to take Mia for a walk....
what to do??? well get the jackets on and go for a walk on this rainy, windy yucky day....
What a joy!!! even when we step in every puddle in sight she didn't let go the leash once... and I was amazed... Mia did stay close to her and Gabby sported a smile all the walk....
Go figure... best friends are the best thing on rainy days...
